     We will be a corporate leader that provides outstanding programs and opportunites, continually developing the potential and meeting the needs of all our students.  We will do our part to prepare our students to be socially and economically responsible members of our community within a safe, challenging, and nurturing environment through collaboration with families, the school district, and the community.

School Safety

All visitors must sign in at the office upon entering the school building and please remember to sign out when leaving. All outside doors will be locked at 8:10 a.m.  Please use the security monitor on the brick wall (the panel is to the right of the front doors). Please do not proceed to any classroom without office notification and signing in and receive a visitor's badge. Our instructional time is very important and cannot be randomly interrupted. The security of your children is of the utmost urgency. Please cooperate with these guidelines-It is to protect your child!

Safety Tip Line

All Muncie Community Schools operates a Safety Tip Line which is available to anyone who wants to report information related to school safety in a confidential manner. The number can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are anonymous and confidential. The Safety Tip Line Number is 747-1632.

The 8 Step Process has been implemented in all of our schools and is credited with the improved student achievement in the state ISTEP+ scores and federal AYP results for the past several years.
