Grissom Elementary has several opportunities for parents, grandparents, and guardians to get involved in school activities. For all adults interested in being involved at the school, please stop by the office to pick up a volunteer application.  All interested in chaperoning field trips must have a volunteer form on file.

What is PTO?

The Parent Teacher Organization is an organization of parents, teachers, and staff dedicated to supporting our students through programs, fundraisers, events, volunteer work, and teacher support. 

The objectives of the PTO are to: Promote enriching opportunities for students, Promote and facilitate the educational processes, Bring together families and the school, Assist teachers and the staff with upholding the standards of the school. Parents are the key to making our school a GREAT place for our children to learn.
